The Bog Walk Gorge in St. Catherine will be closed to vehicular traffic tomorrow.

The closure, which will be between 9 A.M. and 6 P.M. is to facilitate the replacement of downed Jamaica Public Service (JPS) transmission poles.

The National Works Agency says the closure of the roadway is necessary, as the JPS will be using large equipment to effect the works.

The urgent restoration is critical to ensure electricity supply to over 100,000 JPS customers.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes such as Sligoville, Red Hills or Barry during the closure.
