The Bog Walk Gorge is among some road ways that remain impassable following the passage of Hurricane Beryl.

It’s hoped that the Gorge can be reopened by tomorrow.  

The National Works Agency (NWA)  has deployed teams across the island to carry out assessments and clear blocked thoroughfares.

NWA Communications Manager Stephen Shaw says some of the blockages are caused by downed power lines.

In these cases, the NWA team has to collaborate with the Jamaica Public Service, to restore access safely.
