The body of the man, who was washed away in the Wag Water river in Castleton St. Mary, 2 weeks ago, has been found.

Dead is 25 year old Omar Skyers of Seaview Gardens in St. Andrew.

Skyers and a young woman had been carried away by the swift current when the river was in spate, following heavy rains on Thursday September 12.

The body of 19-year-old Chrisan Steele was found 2 days later.

In an update today, the St. Mary police said Skyer’s body was found buried under sand, not far from where Steele’s body had been found.

Relatives, police and fire fighters were on site today, when Skyer’s body was retrieved.
