Body believed to be that of missing Clarendon woman found in pit in Milk River
The body of a woman was found in the Milk River community in Clarendon yesterday.
Police say residents stumbled upon the body in a pit and alerted them around 1:00 PM.
Acting Head of the Clarendon police, Deputy Superintendent Anton Gur-Cardoza, said the body is believed to be that of 19-year-old Derricka Rodgers, who reportedly went missing on Tuesday, May 27.
Reports from the Milk River police are that at about 11:00 A.M., Rodgers was seen at her home on Piper Street in Gravel Hill, Clarendon, wearing a navy blue shirt, a pair of light blue pants and a pair of black and white Crocs.
She has not been heard from or seen since.
