Bling Dawg heartbroken at mother’s passing
Dancehall artiste Bling Dawg is mourning the loss of his mother. Bling Dawg shared the update with a social media post, consisting of family photos of his mother in happier times accompanied by the sounds of Boys II men’s 1991 cover of It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye.
As a caption he wrote, “My mom passed away this morning, this one hit me differently, it is never an easy feeling for any child losing a parent.” Bling Dawg’s mother affectionately called Auntie Bibi, died, on March 27. He did not disclose her cause of death.
Dancehall heavyweights Bounty Killer and Mavado who continue to grieve their mothers passing, were among the entertainers sending condolences and words of comfort to Bling Dawg, both reposting Bling Dawg’s original post. In addition, Bounty noted that death was the darkest part of everyone’s journey adding that he wouldn’t wish this type of grief on anyone, as losing a parent was heart wrenching. He encouraged his fans to send love and empathy to Bling Dawg during this.
Meanwhile several entertainers took to the comment section to offer comfort and support. Tanya Stephens in offering condolence wrote, that nothing prepares you, but it gets easier to deal with over time. Wayne Marshall assured Bling Dawg that his mother was now flying with the angels. Romain Virgo, Mr Lex, Chino McGregor, Footahype, Jesse Royal and Benzley Hype were also among the those offering sympathy and words of encouragement to Bling Dawg
