A motorcyclist was killed in a crash along Washington Boulevard in St. Andrew this morning.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.

Reports are that at about 1:45am, the man was driving a motorcycle along the roadway, when upon reaching Patrick Drive, the bike collided with a Nissan Tiida motor car.

The injured motorcyclist was taken to hospital where he died, while undergoing treatment.

Investigations continue.
