Beryllium Limited is imploring members of the public to act swiftly in contacting the police, if they have information about last evening’s gun attack on its security team, in Grey Ground, Manchester. 

One of the alleged gunmen was shot and killed during what’s being described as an attempted robbery. 

A firearm was also seized. 

Reports are that at about 7:00 p.m. a group of gunmen attacked the courier team at a distribution center.

An alarm was raised, and a shootout reportedly ensued and one of the attackers was fatally shot.

In a statement, Beryllium Limited said it continues to work closely with the police as they investigate this criminal act.

This is the latest in a series of attacks on vehicles and guards attached to the company.
