King of the Dancehall Beenie man who was also awarded by the Government of Jamaica with an Order of Distinction (Officer Class), Jamaica’s fifth-highest honour yesterday said this award means more to him than all his previous awards.

Speaking with IRIE FM at the Bob Marley Museum last night as he joined fellow awardee Nadine Sutherland in celebration, an elated Beenie Man said he just felt great to know he was acknowledged by his own country in this manner.
