Beenie Man Reveals He Didn’t Name All Tracks On Eminence

Written byK'Shema Francis-Pitt

Dancehall veteran Beenie Man has revealed that he did not name all the tracks featured on his latest album, Eminence.

The Dancehall heavyweight made the revelation during an interview with The Breakfast Club while discussing the track “Marijuana In The Kouchie.”

The song title sparked a humorous moment during the interview after the hosts appeared to mispronounce “Kouchie,” prompting Beenie Man to clarify the correct pronunciation.

Beenie Man also spoke about the star-studded collaborations featured on Eminence, including Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, Rotimi, Mýa, Ashanti and Etana.

The 13-track album was produced by Kemar “Flava” McGregor for Billboard King Records.

Eminence is currently number one on the iTunes Reggae Albums chart and number 14 on the iTunes Top 100 Albums chart across all genres.

Meanwhile, Beenie Man is taking over Pandora today, where he will discuss the making of Eminence, his generational impact and more.
