Bail hearing for Constable Noel Maitland set for October 4
Constable Noel Maitland who is charged with the murder of social media influencer Donna-lee Donaldson, is to have his bail application hearing on Tuesday, October 4.
That date was granted by the presiding judge when Maitland appeared in the Home Circuit Court, today (September 16).
The judge has also granted permission for one relative each of Maitland and Donaldson, to be present at the hearing.
Ms. Donaldson was reported missing on July 13. Her body has not been found, but the police believe that she is dead.
Meantime, one woman who was among several protesters outside the Supreme Court this morning, noted that she can relate to the family of Donna-lee Donaldson, as she has had two children who have gone missing.
Noting that it has been approximately 20 years since her children have disappeared, the woman is hoping that Donna-lee’s family will get some justice.
