Bahia Principe Hotels and Resorts has reopened Escape Runaway Bay.

Additionally, as part of a new phase of strategic evolution, the brand joins World of Hyatt, unveiling a new visual identity with two new sub-brands: Bahia Principe Explore and Bahia Principe Escape.

The property has been closed since the passage of Hurricane Melissa last October.

The down time facilitated rebuilding of sections damaged by the Category 5 storm, as well as some renovations.

In a statement today, Bahia Principe Hotels and Resorts said it continues to strengthen its positioning in the Caribbean with the announcement of three strategic milestones.

These are: the reopening of an emblematic hotel in Jamaica, the integration of Bahia Principe into the World of Hyatt loyalty program and the renewal of its hotel brand identity.
