Sting founder, Isaiah Laing says he will be supporting entertainer Vybz Kartel at his upcoming Freedom Street Concert.
In a video making the rounds on social media Laing says there should be no competition among promoters noting that the only issue he would have, was if Kartel had decided to keep his event on December 26 which is cemented in history as the date for Sting.
On Saturday August 24, Tahheer Laing, Isaiah Laing’s son who is overseeing the now three-day festival dismissed comments made by MC Nuffy suggesting that Sting should pull the plug. Commenting on the sentiments made by MC Nuffy, the junior Laing said it was all business.
Sting is expected to run from December 26 to 28, while Vybz Kartel’s highly anticipated Freedom Street concert is slated to take place on New Year’s Eve at the national stadium.
