Fans, friends and members of the entertainment industry will come together this Saturday, March 29 to celebrate the life and legacy of reggae trailblazer Colvin Scott, more popularly known as Coco Tea.
Industry heavyweights, Bounty Killa and Spragga Benz on social media, have shared that a candlelight celebration in honour of the late entertainer, will be held at Okalee Village, Hollywood in Florida, commencing at 6pm.
Hosted by Walshy Fire, the event will feature performances and tributes alongside musical juggling by some of the industry’s most notable sound systems, including Bodyguard, Turbosonic, Black Rhino Intl, LP International, and King Trendsetta.
Persons planning to attend the candlelight ceremony are being asked to bring their lights and come prepared to celebrate the musical icon in an unforgettable night of love and music.
On Tuesday March 11, the global entertainment fraternity was plunged into mourning following news of Coco Tea’s passing. According to reports, the Holy Mount Zion hitmaker died in a Fort Lauderdale hospital in Florida, following a cardiac arrest. He had been ailing for a while.
