Jamaican Actor and musician Sheldon Shepherd and his group Nomadz will be on show at the Reggae Boyz movie screening being presented by the German Embassy.
The film, dubbed an inspirational underdog story, follows the Jamaican team through their highs and lows in football. The screening is scheduled to take place at 10 Waterloo Road in Kingston next Wednesday June 10 at 7pm.
In a post on social media, the official page of the movie wrote “We are so excited to finally have our Jamaican premier of the Reggae Boyz. Too many years have gone without being able to share this film, the amazing people who made it happen in the first place.”
The film directed and produced by Till Schauder, features former players, local entertainers coaches, archived materials from media outlets and football enthusiasts.
The film which was released in 2022 is available on demand through Vimeo.
