Entertainer Richie Stephens is set to hand over the proceeds from his benefit concert to the family of ailing entertainer Lt. Stitchie tomorrow, Thursday December 5, at 4 pm.
The benefit concert, dubbed “Richie for Stitchie,” was held on November 29 in Chicago and featured Richie Stephens, Indika Reggae Band, and Stone Love Sound. While Richie Stephens did not disclose the exact figure raised, he expressed his gratitude for the concert’s success, stating that the target was achieved.
The generous gesture is the latest in a series of efforts by the entertainment community to support Lt. Stitchie, who suffered a severe brain hemorrhage in September. Fellow entertainers Bounty Killer and Shaggy have also made significant donations to support Lt. Stitchie’s medical expenses.
A GoFundMe campaign launched by Lt. Stitchie’s wife, Sophia Laing, has raised over $23,500 to date, with a target of $100,000.
