Earlier today, Black Entertainment Television BET announced the nominees for its 2024 awards. Bob Marley: One love sits in the category alongside American Fiction, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Book of Clarence, The Color Purple, The Equalizer 3 and The Little Mermaid.

The film, which was released on Valentines Day February 14, 2024 grossed $51 million in its initial opening. 

One Love, which follows late reggae musician Marley as he and his band, Bob Marley, and the Wailers, record their hit 1977 album Exodus and the one Love Concert stars Kingsley Ben Adir as Bob Marley and Lashawna Lynch as Rita Marley

The 24th BET Awards will take place on June 30, 2024, to celebrate achievements in Entertainment, Sports, Television, and Movies. It will be held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Rapper Drake leads the list of nominees with seven nominations.
