Dancehall hitmaker, Masicka, fast-rising new kid on the block Nigy Boy, and Jada Kingdom are among the entertainers being promoted to participate in a Climate Smart Concert geared towards raising funds to develop farming in the Caribbean.
The event is an initiative by Farm Up Jamaica and will see proceeds from the concert being held on May 10, at the UBS Arena, going towards the development of regenerative agriculture, specifically in Jamaica.
In February 2022, Farm Up Jamaica partnered with Do Terrah, a US-based multi-level marketing company based in Utah, to bring over three hundred wellness advocates to Farm Up Jamaica’s pineapple farm in Hanover, planting over three thousand organic pineapples to help reduce the importation of food and put young farmers back in regenerative agriculture.
Farm up Jamaica is a charity organization that helps to create green jobs and entrepreneurship opportunities by providing resources for agriculture development.
