DownSound Records CEO and Reggae Sumfest organizer, Josef Bogdanovich, made the revelation today (June 13) during a site visit with sponsors in Montego Bay.

While withholding the name of the mystery act, Bogdanovich did narrow it down—telling IRIE FM that it’s a male superstar.

The 2025 staging of Reggae Sumfest is set for July 13–19 in Montego Bay. One of the most highly anticipated moments will be on July 18, when Vybz Kartel is officially crowned “King of the Dancehall” and is scheduled to perform.
