Tapper who will feature as a challenger will fill the lane that is vacated by racer and former Olympic champion Jasmine Camacho Quinn of Puerto Rico.

Tapper will join fellow Jamaican and racer Akera Nugent in the short hurdles group.

Two time world championship bronze medalist Ruschell Clayton who picked up an injury in the opening leg of the meet in Kingston earlier this month will miss out in Miami and her lane will be taken by Cassandra Tate in the long hurdles group.
