Fraser McConnell secures back-to-back podium finishes in Rally X in Latvia

Jamaican Rallycross sensational driver Fraser McConnell turned in a solid performance on the European stage with back-to-back podium finishes at rounds 5 and 6 of the rally ‘x’ in Riga, Latvia last weekend.

mcconnell, who was a second place finisher in the FC2 category on friday, followed up with a third place finish on Saturday, to continue his consistent run in the 2025 Rally X season. 

Speaking about his performance, McConnel said , “This weekend was a big step forward for us, to come to a new country, compete on a technical track like Riga, and walk away with two trophies, it means the team’s hard work is paying off and I’m proud to keep flying the Jamaican flag on these stages.”

This marks his third consecutive double podium weekend, after strong performances in Portugal and the Netherlands. 

Fraser-Mconnel who is competing in the FC2 class, a new single-spec 4wheel drive turbocharged rally-cross division, will next be in action in Finland between June 14–15.
