Chairman of the Police Federation Corporal Rohan James has been served with a notice of interdiction by the Police High Command.
This follows comments he made while speaking at the funeral service for the late Constable Damien Blair on July 15.
Corporal James had warned that the high command could be in trouble if members are not paid money due to them, for overtime work.
In an audio message to members of the police force this morning, General Secretary of the Police Federation Corporal Arlene McBean confirmed that since those remarks, Corporal James has been served with a notice of interdiction.
