At least 3 people were shot, 1 fatally in Junction, St. Elizabeth this morning.

The identity of the deceased has not been released.

Preliminary reports are that at about 12:25am, the individuals were aboard a motor car when gunmen opened fire at the vehicle, hitting at least 3 occupants.

One man succumbed.

Head of the St. Elizabeth Police Superintendent Coleridge Minto told Irie FM News that the victims are from Westmoreland.
