Another person in custody in relation to death of Paulwell’s daughter and her mother.
Another male has been taken into custody, as police investigations deepen into the murder of Toshyna Patterson and her 10 month-old daughter Sarayah Paulwell.
27-year-old Patterson and Sarayah, the daughter of Member of Parliament Phillip Paulwell, were abducted outside their St. Andrew home on September 9. Its alleged that they were taken to a section of East Kingston, where they were killed and their bodies burnt.
In providing an update to reporters Thursday, Head of the Crime portfolio, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Fitz Bailey said the male was taken in on Wednesday.
He sought to assure Jamaicans that the Constabulary remains committed to bringing those involved in this crime to justice.
Four people have already been charged in relation to the deaths of the mother and daughter.
They include, 34-year-old Leoda Bradshaw and her cousin Roland Balfour who are to return to the home circuit court, on March 6, next year.
Two other men, Roshane Miller and Richard Brown, who were charged in connection with the killings, pleaded guilty and are serving prison terms.
