The American dentist who was at the centre of a dramatic incident at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St. James, last week, has been fined JM$52,000.

Senior Superintendent of Police in charge of ports, Wayne Cameron told Irie Fm News that the woman appeared before the court on Monday.

She was facing charges of disorderly conduct, indecent exposure and resisting arrest.

The incident was captured on video and has gone viral.

In the almost 3-minute-long video, the woman who was partially clothed was seen wrestling with police officers and airport security personnel as they tried to restrain her.

She was taken to hospital for assessment.

Following her court appearance, the woman returned to the United States on Monday.
