American Airlines takes 6 week break from flights to Ian Fleming International Airport
International carrier American Airlines has taken a six week break from its twice weekly flights from Miami, in the United States to the Ian Fleming International Airport, in Boscobel, St. Mary.
Western St. Mary Member of Parliament Robert Montague says the break is to allow the airline to review the last six months’ operations and to allow the airport’s authority to complete important internal works.
Mr. Montague says the airport is slowly outgrowing its capacity, as the twice weekly flights tend to travel full on both legs.
