Alsion Wilson, Jamaica’s Consul-General at New York in the United States has died
Jamaica’s Consul-General in New York, in the United States, has died.
Mrs. Alsion Wilson passed away at her home this morning.
Foreign Affairs Minister Kamina Johnson Smith confirmed Mrs. Wilson’s death on her social media page.
The Minister said the late Consul-General served with deep commitment to country, the Foreign Service and Jamaicans at home and abroad.
Mrs. Johnson Smith said Consul-General Wilson served Jamaica at the highest level of excellence during her tenure, which started in July 2019.
