Prime Minister Andrew Holness says all government offices, except offices that provide essential services, will be closed by midday in anticipation for the impact of Hurricane Beryl.

This as the National Hurricane Centre has advised that Beryl remains at Category 5.

In a release this morning, the Prime Minister encouraged residents to use this time to prepare for the hurricane.
