Alkaline’s New Rules Festival returns to Jamaica

Chart-topping hitmaker Alkaline and New Era Productions have announced that their signature event, New Rules Festival will return to Jamaica this summer after a three-year hiatus.

Slated for July 5, at the Trelawny Multi-Purpose Stadium, this marks the first time it is being staged outside of Kingston.

The announcement comes mere weeks after Alkaline confirmed Raja Wild and Armani for the UK leg of the popular stage show slated for April 17 at the OVO Arena in Wembley.

Following the UK stop, Alkaline is expected to take New Rules to Canada in June, marking the festival’s expansion into a new city as part of its 2025 multi-city journey.

The New Rules Festival, created by Alkaline and New Era Productions, was first held in Jamaica in 2017. The festival has become synonymous with high-energy performances, vibrant experiences, and a celebration of contemporary dancehall culture. A release from the organizers says this year’s lineup will showcase established and emerging talent, promising an exhilarating experience for all attendees.

Tickets for the Jamaica leg of New Rules Festival go on sale on today.
