Dancehall heavyweight Aidonia, is remembering his son Khalif Lawrence, two years after his passing.

In a tear-jerking post on Instagram, the 4^th Genna DJ shared a photo of him and Khalif in happier times with the caption, “I’m not the same without you! Losing you broke my heart”. The post has garnered a myriad of comments with industry players such as Wayne wonder, Tami Chynn Mitchell, Creep Chromatic, Bling Dawg among others sending messages of comfort to the DJ.

On December 3, 2022, the nation plunged into mourning after Aidonia’s colleagues and several members of the local music fraternity shared posts on social media, revealing that the artiste’s 9-year-old-son had died.

Khalif died following a lengthy battle with cancer. At the time of his death, he was the only child for the DJ and his wife Kimberley Meghan.
