The Agriculture Ministry will be investing over $60 million this year for the acquisition of agricultural drones.
Minister of Agriculture, Floyd Green made the announcement during his contribution to the Sectoral Debate yesterday.
He said the drones will have spraying, seeding and surveillance capabilities.
Mr. Green says farmers can contact the Rural Agriculture Development Authority (RADA) for assistance.
The investment in equipment will also see the ministry acquiring multiple compact farm tractors, planters for seed and tubers and harvesters.
