The Ministry of Agriculture has started the process of designing a farmers’ pension scheme.

Portfolio Minister Floyd Green made the announcement during his Sectoral Debate Presentation in Parliament this afternoon.

He said the ministry will be advocating for 1 billion dollars to initiate the funding process.
