Agriculture Minister Floyd Green has announced that the Sugar Industry is beginning to experience an influx of new investors.  

He said there is an opportunity for more investors to come on board, noting that the Sugar Industry has been right-sized. 

He said a company has applied and the government is working with it  to operate out of Clarendon. 

Mr Green said that plan is expected to materialize as the year progresses. 

He was responding to questions during a live Tik Tok live stream last evening.
