Dancehall star, Vybz Kartel through his Adidja Palmer Foundation has pledged long term plans to support the Westhaven Children’s home in Hanover.

In a video captured during Kartel’s visit to the orphanage last week an employee at the children’s home speaking with the press, expressed gratitude for the assistance.

Speaking with the press, Vybz Kartel said it was decided on the spot to adopt the children’s home.

Kartel’s visit to the Children’s home is part of his ongoing efforts to bring relief to communities affected by Hurricane Melissa.

The initiative is part of the Adidja Palmer Foundation’s relief efforts which includes committing to adopting and rebuilding, creating safe havens and community restoration.
