Addressing salary issues still on JTA’s agenda for this year
Newly elected President of the Jamaica Teachers Association, Leighton Johnson said he is confident that the island’s schools are staffed with capable teachers.
Speaking in his back to school address, Mr Johnson urged teachers to continue to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, as they execute their duties.
The JTA President stressed that he remains resolute in addressing unresolved issues affecting teachers, including those surrounding salary.
