The Long Hill main road is slated to be the next road rehabilitation project in West Central St James.

The announcement was made by Member of Parliament for the constituency Marlene Malahoo Forte, during her State of the Constituency debate, on Tuesday.

She was giving the update on the progress of planned road works, in the wake of reports of more accidents along the long hill roadway, and calls from residents to have certain problematic sections, especially a breakaway, addressed.

The MP said to date, over sixty roads in the constituency have been fixed and several more projects are underway.

Acknowledging that the Long Hill main road problem is a recurring one, the MP assured that plans are in place for it to be rehabilitated soon.
