Nitish Kumar Reddy has been withdrawn from the India squad to play in the upcoming home series against the West Indies.

The squad, which includes the experienced duo of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, will be led by Shubman Gill, with KL Rahul named as his vice-captain, replacing Shreyas Iyer, who deputised for Gill in the previous One-Day International assignment against England.
Naman Dhir earns his maiden call-up, along with Auqib Nabi. Yashasvi Jaiswal, who played in the Afghanistan One-Day series but did not feature in the England ODIs, has been included as the backup opener.
Alongside Iyer, the other players who toured England but are not in the squad are Ishan Kishan, Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh and Shivam Dube.

The three-match One-Day International series, which starts on September 27, will be followed by a five-match T20 International series, with the first match scheduled for October 6. Shreyas Iyer returns as captain for the T20 series.
