Canadian woman killed in crash in St. Ann yesterday

A Canadian woman died in a motor vehicle crash along the Queen’s Highway in Discovery Bay, St. Ann, yesterday.
She has been identified as Tiffany Nyack of Toronto.
Police say the crash occurred at about 2 p.m. and involved a Toyota Probox motorcar in which Nyack was a passenger.
Reports are that the driver was travelling towards Ocho Rios when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle.
Police say the vehicle, which is believed to have been travelling at excessive speed, veered off the roadway and overturned.
Nyack sustained multiple injuries to her body.
She was pronounced dead at hospital.
The injured driver remains hospitalised.
Police say he is expected to be questioned, after which charges are expected to be laid for causing death by dangerous driving.
