CXC working with stakeholders across region to have CTEC recognized as qualification for employment

The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) says it is working with stakeholders across the region to have the Caribbean Targeted Education Certificate (CTEC) recognized as a qualification for employment.
CXC Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Wayne Wesley says the individual CTEC modules were designed with workforce readiness in mind.
He says the modules provide students with specific skills and competencies that can be applied in the workplace.
Dr. Wesley added that the modules provide employers with more information about an applicant’s competencies, allowing them to determine more easily whether the applicant is qualified for the job.
