New state-of-the-art Alexandria Market progressing well in St. Ann

Residents of Alexandria and surrounding communities in St. Ann will soon have access to a new state-of-the-art market.
This as the construction of the Alexandria Market is reportedly progressing well.
Once completed, the facility is expected to serve as a modern, convenient, and multi-functional space for residents, farmers, vendors, and business operators.
The project, which began four months ago, saw the demolition of the old market building and the commencement of the construction of a new, expanded facility.
It is anticipated that the market will open officially later this year.
During a site visit, Mayor of St. Ann’s Bay, Michael Belnavis, expressed satisfaction with the progress and quality of the work.
He noted that the market will provide residents with greater access to essential goods and services closer to home.
