
A wake for reggae artiste fantan Mojah will be held at Rebel T HQ on Dumbarton Avenue in Kingston on Wednesday, August 12.
Fans and members of the music fraternity will be given the opportunity to pay their final respects to the late musician. The wake forms part of a series of memorial events planned to celebrate the life of the late Singjay.
The first service, scheduled for August 13, will be a public funeral service at the university chapel, beginning at 11:00 am. This will be followed by a family and community service and a burial at 11:00 am on August 15 in Eldershire, St Elizabeth.
Fantan Mojah, known for his distinctive sound, powerful delivery and spiritually charged reggae songs, died on August 5 following a period of illness.
