Prominent beatmaker faces defamation lawsuit

Music producer Don Corleon is facing the threat of a defamation lawsuit from his ex-partner, Attorney-at-law Mekelia Green following allegations he made against her in a now viral video.

In a video shared on social media today, Green says Corleon missed the deadline she set for him to issue a public apology after he alleged during a livestream that she had assaulted him. She says it is her intention to file a defamation lawsuit against the producer.

The attorney says she is now ready to tell her side of the story, claiming that she had already informed Corleon  that their relationship was over before the video was posted.

Corleon is the powerhouse behind several iconic rhythms, including Drop Leaf which features T.O. K’s Footprints, Jah Cure’s Longing For, Gentleman’s Intoxication and Your Best Friend by Morgan Heritage.
