Lieutenant Stitchie’s family thanks the public for support

The family of dancehall and gospel artiste Lieutenant Stitchie is expressing gratitude to the public for the outpouring of support following his passing.
In a post shared on then veteran entertainer’s Instagram account, the family thanked everyone who reached out with messages of love, prayers and other expressions of support during what they described as a difficult time.
The family said the kindness shown has brought comfort as they mourn Stichie’s passing, while also celebrating his life, work and legacy.
They added that more information regarding funeral arrangements will be shared in due course.
The nation was plunged into mourning on Monday following news of Stitchie’s passing just one day shy of his 64th birthday. He had been ailing for some time after suffering a stroke in 2024.
