Nightly curfew imposed in Greenvale Manchester to be lifted on condition of continued peace in the community
The nightly curfew imposed in Greenvale, Manchester, following a gun attack on June 27, will be lifted on condition of continued peace in the community.
Head of the Manchester Police, Deputy Superintendent Odean Dennis, made the revelation during a Town Hall meeting at the Greenvale Community Centre yesterday.
He said the decision to discontinue the curfew comes after assessments determined that the safety risk in the community has been reduced.
However, the Deputy Superintendent warned that the security measure will be reimposed if the peace is disrupted.
