Shamera Sterling-Humphrey and Latanya Wilson celebrates Suncorp Super Netball League title
The Adeladie Thunderbirds with the Jamaican world class defenders Shamera Sterling-Humphrey and Latanya Wilson are today celebrating after winning their third consecutive Suncorp Super Netball League title in Australia last night.
This after the Thunderbirds defeated the Melbourne vixens 61-40 in the Grand Final.
The T-birds trailed by a one goal, but a 12-goal turnaround in the second quarter set them up for victory later in the contest.
The result caps an extremely dominant season for the minor premiers, who lost just one match throughout the home and away rounds.
Latanya Wilson was crowned player of the match for her work across the wing defence and goal defence positions in the contest.

The Jamaican defender finished with seven gains, three intercepts, six deflections, two rebounds and five pick-ups.
