JFJ calls on police force to make its current policy document on body-worn cameras available to public
Jamaicans for Justice (JFJ) is calling on the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) to make its current policy document on body-worn cameras available to the public.
Executive Director Mickel Jackson made the call during a public forum yesterday.
Ms. Jackson pointed out that, in the interest of accountability and transparency, the policy document should not be a secret.
She stated that the JFJ had reviewed the 2021 JCF body-worn camera policy and identified some gaps.
Ms. Jackson also called on the Police High Command to consider recommendations made by the JFJ on the matter.
