Volunteers have converged at the Lewis Town Early Childhood Institution in St. Elizabeth to refurbish the school for Labour Day.
The institution which was severely damaged by Hurricane Melissa is one of the national projects for Labour Day.
Principal Icyonie Salmon expressed gratitude for what’s being done.
State Minister of Education, Rhoda Moy Crawford stated that the Ministry is grateful this institution was selected.
Labour Day is being observed under the theme “ One People, One Purpose: In All Things Jamaica Wins.”
