Gov’t signs agreement with Korea International Cooperation Agency for Land Administration Capacity Enhancement Project
The Government has officially signed an agreement with Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) for the Land Administration Capacity Enhancement Project.
The project aims at strengthening the National Land Agency, NLA’s operational efficiency, improving service delivery, and modernizing land management through technology and institutional development.
Speaking at the signing ceremony this morning, Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness stated that KOICA is providing a $9 million grant for the project.
He said the programs under the project will include geoinformatics and cadastral mapping, among other things.
