Jahvy and Jaii Frais get bail; court orders them to refrain from discussing case on social media
Music producer Jahvel Morrison, also known as “Jahvy,” and vlogger Jhaedee Richards, also known as “Jaii Frais,” were each offered $1.5m bail when they appeared in court today.
The men were charged in connection with a shooting incident at the Ranny Williams entertainment centre in St. Andrew, earlier this month.
Morrison has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm, wounding with intent and using a firearm to commit a felony.
While Richards has been charged with shooting with intent, wounding with intent and possession of a prohibited weapon.
Both men are to return to court on July 8.
Speaking with Irie F M News today Morrison’s attorney Peter Champagnie noted that the court ordered the men to refrain from commenting on the case on social media platforms.
The men were arrested following the incident, which resulted in the wounding of at least two men, including the vlogger.
Police report that there was a physical confrontation between individuals at the post carnival big wall event, which escalated, resulting in the discharge of firearms.
