Bounty Killer set to receive key to the city
Dancehall icon Bounty Killer is set to receive one of Kingston’s highest civic honours, following a recent resolution passed by the Kingston and St Andrew Municipal Corporation.
Supporting the resolution, councillor Patrick Roberts, and former manager for Beenie Man, emphasized that longevity at Bounty Killer’s level in the music industry is no small feat.
With more than three and a half decades in the business, Bounty Killer is being recognized not only for his enduring influence in dancehall, but also for his philanthropic efforts and immense contribution to Jamaican music.
The recognition will see the legendary DJ receiving the key to the city, along with the renaming of a road in Seaview Gardens in his honour.
