JHTA President concerned about room availability in Western Jamaica
As geopolitical tensions divert tourism traffic to the Caribbean, there is concern that there may not be sufficient hotel rooms in Western Jamaica to meet visitor demand.
President of the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association, Christopher Jarrett raised the concern during this morning’s Business and Consumer Confidence Indices presentation, at the Terra Nova Hotel in Kingston.
He noted that while Jamaica’s brand is strong, measures must be implemented to ensure that accommodations are available for visitors.
