Dancehall entertainer Valiant is urging Prime Minister Andrew Holness to address the rising cost of gas in Jamaica.

In an Instagram Story, Valiant directly tagged the Prime Minister, writing: “The gas price ridiculous a swear bro Gad.”

However, Jamaica is not alone in facing increased fuel costs.

Globally, oil prices have surged amid major supply disruptions in the Middle East, including attacks on shipping vessels and the effective disruption of traffic through the strategic Strait of Hormuz, a key route for global oil transport.
